As BriSCEV 2008 will be held in the historic capital city of Wales, we would like to take the opportunity to provide you with a taste of the culture and cuisine of this country.
On the night of Monday 15th September, join us on a magical trip back in time to ye olde Cardiff Castle, where we will be feasting, roistering and generally making merry to the strains of traditional Welsh music, theatre and dancing. There will be traditional welsh food, and free flowing ale.
But be warned…everyone is encouraged to join in the fun - bring your dancing feet with you! An additional ticket for accompanying persons is £40.
Sunday night change of plan!
The tapas bar which we previously suggested as a meeting point for those arriving on Sunday night has inconsiderately closed down, so we have a change of venue.
We will now be meeting in the Piano bar of the Hilton hotel on Kingsway, opposite Cardiff Castle (<http://www.hilton.co.uk/cardiff>), from 7.30, and will be dining in the hotel restaurant at 8.15pm. It would be helpful to have an idea of numbers so we can book a table, and we would be grateful if anyone planning to arrive on the Sunday evening could e-mail us on Briscev@cf.ac.uk <mailto:Briscev@cf.ac.uk>.
